Can i take ginsing of i'm am on plaquenil

So far I have no more energy than when I first started and has developed neuropathy which I have just found out from Web MD that this neuropathy is one of the side effects of this med! Saying that by stopping this it would take another 6 months to build up the benefit. There are other meds that can help with what you are experiencing, and if your doctor didn't address that then I would seek out a second opinion... Please don't stop your plaquenil until you are sure it is the right thing to do and in your best interest.

Hydroxychloroquine and nerve damage On hydroxychloroquine

It's not that the calculations are particularly difficult, but, being Americans and using the moronic English system of measurements, it's requires a few more steps than a busy doctor should have to take. Going forward, I'm going to limit my discussion to hydroxychloroquine Plaquenil and women. My question is for those that have taken Plaquenil/Hydroxychloroquine. How long did it take for it to remove symptoms in your personal experience? I know I've read it can take up to 6 months but what I'm wondering is, do you just wake up one day and find it's kicked in 6 months down the road or more likely, it starts to work slowly over 6 months? I have been on Plaquenil for 9 years with no side effects. However, I make sure to get my eyes examined yearly, including the "field vision test". This is extremely important as Plaquenil can but it is rare cause eye damage. The first few years on the Plaquenil, my eye exams were every 6 months, but now it is just once a year.

Plaquenil is a 6-weeker as far as the benefits are concerned, but it would be more dangerous to stop if you spend a lot of time outside and if this were the summer. Or maybe another doctor if you're not comfortable w/your current one.

  4. Plaquenil probably won’t protect you from getting Covid-19, but it should make it less dangerous and shorten the lifespan. I hope that answers some questions. I have decided to take next week off and keep my kids home for the next week. It isn’t worth the risk, and I am lucky to have a job where I am able to take time off and still get paid.

Plaquenil is a slow-acting drug, meaning that it can take up to 6 months to experience the full benefits of this medication, but it is possible for symptoms to improve in as few as 1 or 2 months. Plaquenil and other antimalarials are the key to controlling lupus long-term, and some lupus patients may be on Plaquenil for the rest of their lives. I needed to reach out somewhere so here I am I can't make it to class anymore I can't breathe after walking short distances or talking sort sentences my friends no longer invite me to things because they already know I can't go I spend over 6000 dollars a year on medical stuff and it's all a waste I feel just as bad im in just as much pain im so thankful for the days I can brush my hair now. Neuropathy can also be caused by the Lupus itself. I have them too. I have SLE, Sjogren's APS, Hemolytic Anemia, Heart disease and now the neuropathy in my right leg. It takes a really long time for the Plaquenil to kick in. It may even take a year. Mine didn't start working until I was on it for 8 months and I take more than you do.
